Christine Young is a professional violinist, singer, & songwriter. Classically trained, Christine attended the prestigious Peabody Conservatory before earning a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Maryland.

An eclectic performer, she has provided violin/fiddle, viola and vocals in a variety of live and studio settings.  Though rooted in classical technique, Christine is equally at home with blues, folk, jazz, celtic, bluegrass, and rock styles.

Christine is available for hire for weddings, special events, touring engagements and studio sessions throughout the Outer Banks, North Carolina and Tidewater Virginia areas and offers private instruction on a limited basis.
